Health begins in the mind

Depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues can have a huge effect on your overall health. Just as it's important to eat right, exercise, and get your vitamins, it's even more important to take care of your mind. After all, your head is a part of your body too.

What can I do?

Addressing your mental health is nothing to be ashamed of any more than you might be ashamed of a sprained ankle. There are, of course, medical professionals who went through a lot of school to be able to help you, and we do highly recommend that you talk to your doctor first if you suspect you might have any sort of mental illness. The headhealth app is a great supplement, but is NOT a replacement for professional medical advice.

That being said, the headhealth app can be a great tool in your toolbox. With reminders to keep you organized, the ability to track your mood changes over time, and helpful exercises to help calm an oncoming episode, the headhealth app gives you what you need to take back control.
